LossGuard

Refund Policy

Last updated July 2026

1. Try before you pay

Every subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, and no card is required to begin it. You can connect an account, set your rules, and see exactly how LossGuard behaves before any charge is made. We recommend using the trial so that a paid subscription is never a surprise.

2. Cancel anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — your protection keeps running until then, and you are not charged again. We don't use retention hoops or cancellation fees.

3. How payments and refunds are processed

Payments for LossGuard are handled by Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase and processes all charges, taxes, and refunds. Refund requests are therefore handled through Paddle in accordance with the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. You can request a refund by contacting us (see section 5) or Paddle directly using the receipt Paddle emailed you.

4. 14-day goodwill refund

On top of your rights under Paddle's buyer terms, we offer a 14-day goodwill refund window on your first paid subscription: if you're within 14 days of your first charge and LossGuard isn't right for you, contact us and we'll refund that payment, no debate. This goodwill window applies to your first-time subscription only; later renewals are covered by the standard cancel-anytime terms above and by Paddle's buyer terms.

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@lossguard.io from the address on your account and tell us which payment you'd like refunded. We aim to respond within one business day and to process approved refunds promptly through Paddle. Refunds are returned to your original payment method; the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.

6. Nothing here removes your legal rights

This policy is offered in addition to any refund or cancellation rights you have under applicable consumer law and under Paddle's buyer terms. Where those give you stronger rights, those rights apply.
