LossGuard

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026

1. What we collect

Your email address, your MT5 account details (broker server, login, and trading password), the rules you configure, and operational records of your account's activity (equity snapshots, rule fires, and audit events).

2. How your trading password is handled

Your MT5 trading password is encrypted with AES-256 before it is stored, using envelope encryption. It is decrypted only inside the service that connects to your broker, and never appears in logs, error messages, or anywhere in the browser. No LossGuard staff can read it.

3. Deletion

When you disconnect an account or cancel your subscription, the stored credential is permanently deleted, and we recommend you rotate your MT5 trading password afterward as good hygiene.

4. Who we share with

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service (for example, our database/authentication host, our trading connectivity provider, and our payment processor). We do not sell your data.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access to your data is restricted by row-level security so that each account can only access its own records. An append-only audit log records credential and rule events.
